night out, kafé de luxe
// Jeans Jacket, Lee // Top, BikBok // Skirt, Rut & Circle // Lips, MUS's Russian //
David, Alma, Niklas and I went out to Kafé De Luxe yesterday. I was sober because of my detox, but I did buy a delicious orange juice instead of an alcoholic drink, yey, hehe. About today's weather, It's been raining all day, and on top of that a lot of thunder. Well, thunderstorms can be cosy, but only from a distance... I hate to be totally powerless.

Brings back good memories of lazy days and wonderful people in Gamleby!
sunset at the docks
// Helsingborg docks //
It's hot outside today, but I ain't complaining. And this is the other sunset picture I talked about, so beautiful! By the way, Niklas arrived to Växjö today with the train from Stockholm and he's spending the weekend here, even though I'm working from 06:45 to 13:00 tomorrow. Gotta get up at 05:30... buhu, I really really hate early mornings!
on the beach
// Bikini from Phaxswimwear //
The problem with long hair when it's windy, well it's always in my face and it's never that fabulous as it is in music videos, movies or commercial, yeah you name it! But that will not make me cut it short, I love long hair and it's not as hard to have or take care of as many think! I wish it could grow 20 centimeter over a night, I guess you wonder why? Well I just want to cut of the blond part of my hair so that it's all natural again!
// Everyting from Zara (yeah!), love those sandals //
Yesterday's sundown in Helsingborg, beautiful! I have one more to show you but that'll be in another post! I just came home to Växjö, mom and I had 2 wonderful days in Råå. I got a little bit browner, no red skin here, and of course a few more freckles! Tomorrow I'll start detoxing, I've been without almost no sugar for 4 weeks today, so I thought of taking it to the next level. I'll tell you more about it tomorrow!
// Råå beach in Helsingborg //
A few days ago mom and I decided that we should visit my favorite beach in Sweden, namely Råå, (well my favorite beach so far. I love the water here). At the moment we're at dads apartment here in Helsingborg and soon we're taking the bus into the city for some dinner!
Summer food! Can't help but love this kind of food, especially in the summer! If I have to make the hard decision to choose something to eat everyday, for the rest of my life, it would probably be salad! What would you choose?
me retouching (video)
Editing a picture from my last series The Descent. In real time the video would be 40 minutes long! Watch in HD!

there's a party tonight
// Can't stop looking at this video, epic night in Gamleby! //
Yes indeed, there is a party tonight at one of my highschool friends houses. So sad that I haven't sleept so much and got up at 05:30, but I'm gonna go anyway! But first I have a meeting to attend at 18:30, but after that, untz untz.

Self portrait. One of the things I find most interesting is how you choose to portrait yourself. Either if it's pure art or just a portrait of you, it's truly interesting how you see yourself and how you use yourself as a model or tool to accomplish what you had in mind. I've done a lot of self portraits, mostly because of my blog. In the beginning everything dealt around finding the best picture of me, all I wanted was to look beautiful. But, as time goes by I've grown to be more familiar with my looks, and to accept them. Sometimes I even love them, but that's a secret alright? However, I recently began making more artistic self portraits, I'm trying photograph in a way, which I hope, doesn't appear self portraitish.
Yes, self portrait is hard to make, especially because you have to be both in front and behind the camera at the same time. A lot of patient is required, and a remote. But I hope to inspire photographers who are afraid of the lens to take a step outside their comfort zone and make self portraits. Think of it, we (the photographers) could make selfies into beautiful art that's worth mentioning.
the me time
At the moment I'm reading the ELLE magazine that came in the mail today and drinking a cup of tea. I almost always do this when ELLE arrive, so nice to have a little me time once in a while!
has it already been a year?!
// From the first week in Gamleby last year, August/September, Django (read: Ellen) Unchained with Fredrik, those times! //
I can't really comprehend that it's already been a year since I graduated from Katedralskolan in Växjö and longed for my move to Gamleby. A year goes by so fast. To fast if you ask me! Now it's only 45 days until I move to New York, by my self... for the moment I'm just excited, but uhm, I guess I'll bee nervous, truly nervous when the day comes! I don't think I quite understand what I brought myself into, it's just that though.. haha, well I heard I've grown in Gamleby, both as a person and photographer, but New York will make me grow more, I'm sure of it! So I'm just thrilled about my move to New York, and it's going to be so damn fun!
the white sofa
// Shirt - Monki // Pants - BikBok // Shoes - Converse //
Bought that sweater on Monkis sale a few weeks ago, 100 sek, a real bargain! And I love that V shaped neckline!
It's been raining all day long, so I'm longing for warmer latitudes today. These pics are from Elafonisi on Crete, a beautiful place! The water is amazing!
if i just had the energy
// A drawing of Kamila made by me with lead pencils //
Today have been that sort of a day when you feel like doing everything: drawing, playing games, jog, jump up and down, go to the movies, you get it... but you have no energy at all... so sad, my mind is exploding of ideas but my body just says no... so frustrating! The plan was to hang out with friends tonight, but my tummy hurts so bad that I don't know if I'm up for it. We'll see!
Yesterday's dessert, so fresh and yummy to just eat fruits! A perfect dessert during the hot summer days!
// Top, Monki // Skirt, Gina Tricot // Sandals, Zara // Earrings, This Style // Clutch, my own //
// Sunglasses, Asos // Jewelry, various // Bracelet, Thomas Sabo CC //
Todays look, or this evenings look actually. It's been really hot today, again, so mom and I went swimming and
sunbathing! Then I picked up Nadja for a coffee at Condeco. I've missed that girl, haven't seen her for a year!
flower pants all the way
Outfit from last summer
It's so hot outside right now I don't know what I'm gonna do. I wish Växjö were placed by the sea.. so I could play in the water all day long!
new in from hm
New jogging-shorts from the sale at the H&M store in Växjö city, used to cost 179 sek and I got it for only 50 sek! Comfy and needed in this hot weather! Today I did a photoshoot for a company here in Växjö. I hope it went well and that they'll be satisfied with the result which I'll send them tomorrow! Now it's time for som reading in the garden!
Today was Niklas last day here in Växjö so we made a pancake breakfast, even though I'm on a no-sugar-period, did only eat my mothers homemade strawberry jam. Well well, the weather have been awesome today, 29 degrees celsius! Almost unbearable even in the shadow!
So warm weather today, we haven't done anything but listening
to music in the garden and reading. Yesterday we rode to the
lake and spent the afternoon. And yes, we did take a swim!
Now: beer and cider in the garden!
Today we made pizza with aubergines and whole wheat bread, so yummy!
my latest outfits
My latest outfits, got yourself a favorite? I like them all of course, but it's number 1 for me!
black tip nails
I made new nails today with the 2 colors on the picture above. The golden mascara is my favorite mascara at the moment. It has this really short name, Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lash Extending Mascara... sometimes I wonder why they make it so complicated, and mascara commercials makes me laugh... well well, the sunglasses are from Asos and the peachy pink nail polish from Depend (number 29). Btw, I just love that cover from swedish ELLE magazine! My friend Niklas visiting me this weekend, gonna be so much fun! AND it's homemade sushi for dinner tonight, Alma, David, Niklas and I will cook it! YUMMY! Have a great day you all!
look of today
Had this makeup today, made with the makeup palette Yves Rocher sent to me, thank you! You'll find it here! Made a fresh and summery look! Great colors both for day and night. The palette is for lips, cheeks and eyes. Perfect for this summers photoshoots, I will use it a lot!
// Top, Zara // Boyfriend Jeans, Lee // Sunglasses, Asos // Shoes, Nowhere //Jewelry, vintage // Bracelet, Thomas Sabo CC //
Just realized that I didn't look into the camera at all today, shy or what? haha... anyway, went out for a run earlier this morning. I didn't think that the short jog I had in mind would turn out to be a 10k run instead, but it did and now my feet hurts... But what the hell, I'm finally in the right mode!
sun in my face, wind in my hair
// T-shirt, H&M // Jacket, Levi's // Shirt, BikBok // Shorts, Levi's 510 // Shoes, Converse //
// Sunglasses, Asos // Jewelry, vintage // Bracelet, Thomas Sabo CC //
For the first time, in forever... (Frozen)... it's sunny! So happy! Accompanied my mom and dad to our little cottage today. It's actually really nice here. It's just that you have to live like they did in the beginning of the 1900s! No running water or a modern toilet... only electricity! Hehe, cosy anyway!
raw chocolate balls
Made these beauties again today! So yummy, but changed the recipe just a bit!
Raw almond/hazelnut butter (1 dl almonds, 0,5 dl hazelnuts, 1,5 tbs sunflower oil, 1 tbs water)
3 tbs cacoa
2-3 tbs honey
Topping: sesame seeds or coconut flakes. (I prefer sesame seeds)
Mix the almonds and hazelnuts in a food processor into a flour,
add coconut oil and water, mix it all together. Blend the almond
and hazelnut butter together with cacoa and honey. Shape the
mixture into small balls and roll in sesame seeds, all done!
I like them chilled!
Hi guys! A few days ago I cooked dinner to my family, Alma and David helped too. Anyway, we cooked Shrimp Saganaki. Easy peasy, you cook a tomato sauce for at least 45 min, after a while: add fresh oregano. Meanwhile, fry slices of one whole zucchini in a frying pan. When the tomato sauce have cooked for a while mix the shrimp, zucchini and feta cheese together, I added a little fresh cream too. DONE! Shrimp Saganaki goes great with pasta! I hope you'll cook this, easy and soooo yummy!
Hope you like it, I know we did!
