A bunch of selfies from my instagram. It looks pretty ridiculous when you put everyone together like this. I can see some sort of pattern. It would be interesting to make a selfie book that spans over 10 years, not one of those "take one picture every day book", but just make a book of selfies and see how your view of yourself change over the years.
oslo opera house and view
Images from when Julia and I visited Oslo Opera House in the beginning of this summer. So windy up there! Anyhow, mom and I are having take away for dinner tonight. We never have take away, I mean, NEVER, I can count on one hand how many times we've had take away during my childhood... very few! Anyway, it's sushi that we're about to pick up!
A few images from the beautiful Botanical Garden in Oslo in the beginning of this summer. There's no point in denying, I always get a bit down when all the green colours starts to fade into red, brown and yeallow, and when the flowers starts to disappear. I do like fall, for a few weeks, but since I know whats ahead... the winter await us. I don't have any warm and fuzzy feeling towards the winter, it's nice and cozy for a few days. But winters is mostly rain and not snow in southern Sweden... and cold days with rain... ah I ain't much for those!
In front of the Castle in Oslo. I've forgotten to show you some images from the weekend I spent in Oslo with Julia, so here's the first few! I'm preparing the last of my camera gear for the wedding shoot today. I'll be working from 14 to 19 at this wedding and the weather looks stunning, 23 degrees and sunshine all day! Perfecto!
I've been working today at ICA, just a few hours though, so I got home soon after 12. Anyway, when I got home I made myself some lunch, which I had in the garden and since then I've been planning for tomorrows wedding shoot. I've been preparing my camera gear too. So now I'm about to head out in the marvelous weather we have in Växjö today! Truly stunning!
Images from today with Alice at Evedal in Växjö. I'm wearing top from Forever21, Skirt from H&M, Shoes from Nike, Socks from Monki and Sunglasses from BikBok! I've been out in the sun the whole day with Alice, and when I got home from Evedal I went out running 11k. It was exhausting in the heat, 26 degrees C! But I made it so I feel pretty good about myself!

one from saturday
A little one from Saturdays look, I'll post the whole outfit shortly! Those jeans are the most comfy ones I've ever owned. Anyway, I began reading a new novel yesterday, I'm about 200 pages in. It's called The Making of Us, (Syskonmakaren på svenska). Written by Lisa Jewell. So far it's pretty good, not the best book I've read but yeah, interesting. It's about kids that exsist through sperm donation and how their stories intertwine. It takes place in England/London. I would say that it is a "feel good" novel, so if you're on holiday or have a little extra time over this is worth reading :).
My type of food! So there's a lot on this table but the best one was quinoa, sun dried tomato, champignon and saffron stuffed chard leaves (so delicious and my own recipe!). Also oven baked aubergine stuffed with tomatoes, garlic, jerusalem artichoke and spinach with basil on top. There's also Oumph (the stuff that looks like meat), bean salad, fennel salad, a green salad, mango chutney sauce, slow and oven baked tomatoes and hummus! All vegan and gluten free! OMG!
Here's the whole outfit from yesterday. Today I've been out running 10k, and I just got out from the shower. As always a rather steamy one haha... it's even vapour on the windows outside the bathroom when I open the door from my ten minutes of tropical heat! Anyway, I'm on my way to make myself some brunch, the one for champions, and later on I'll meet up Rebecca in town. She's home from Switzerland now! I'm excited to see her and listen to all new stories! I haven't seen her since the beginning of June so we have a lot to talk about! I was supposed to visit her last weekend, but since I got the job in Stockholm I had to cancel my plans of going to Switzerland. Anyhow, happy Saturyay!

sneak peek of suitish jumpsuit
A sneak peek of my outfit today. That jumpsuit is so nice, it's possible to both dress it up and down for a more everyday look! I've been working with paperwork in my business today, not exactly my favourite part of having my own company. Anyway, I'm in love with that hairstyle, I feel so mischievous in it!
I just wanted to give you guys a tip about another new series on Netflix, it's called The Get Down. I haven't seen more than 2 episodes but so far I would say it's about the emergance of the rap culture in NYC, Bronx. I would also argue that the acting is really good and that the settings where the story unfolds feels true! Give it a shot, especially if you're into music and rap!
I just finished my dinner, and I'm back in Växjö again. I'll be working with the images from Saturday tomorrow and continue to look for apartments in Stockholm. My weekend in the big city was great, and it was fun to see Johanna again and stay in her beautiful apartment!

chili sin carne
Made a chili sin carne a few days ago, turned out really good! I've never made chili con carne before I was vegan so this was the very first time. I didn't follow a recipe so I basically followed my own taste buds. I switched the meat for soya mince and kidney + black beans!
Today I'm working at a private summer party out in Sandhamn in Stockholm, I'm photographing the whole event and working for around twelve hours. I won't be back from the island until around nine - ten in the evening.
ellen simone,food,my recipes,stylebyellen,vegan,
The rumble of a big city, how I missed it. I'm running a few errands today, and since the weather looks beautiful here in Stockholm I'll be walking or biking all over town! Johanna, who I'm staying with, has school today so I won't see her until a little later. Now I have to go and fetch me a cup of coffee somewhere, forgot my travel pack at home :P.
blackcurrant ice cream
Blackcurrant nice/ice cream, ingredients are 1 frozen banana mixed together with one tablespoon of blackcurrant powder (homemade powder from dried blackcurrant berries, picked in our garden), toppings are blueberries and some coconut chips. Had this ice or nice cream for breakfast yesterday! I just got on the train to Stockholm as I'm writing this. I'm spending the weekend with Johanna and I'm working, shooting, on Saturday too. Since this is a sloooow train I'll be watching the series Stranger Thins, it's so good!
I'm on the verge of moving out from my parents home, once again, and back to Stockholm, which I missed badly! However, I haven't find any apartment yet, so I am continuously looking for a place to live with my friend Frida. But as many of you know it is ridiculously hard to find anything affordable. None of us wants to live to far away from the city and preferably with good subway connections. However, what we're looking for are rooms in a shared apartment/house or an apartment that we have for ourselves. Soooo, if you guys have any tips or connections to make for us, it would be very appriciated!
Well, since I'm in the mood of moving out again, I've been looking at a lot of interior inspiration! I'm longing so for my very own apartment! So here's a moodboard of things that I like at the moment, a lot of tree materials mixed with industry, plants, old stuff and a little colour!
I've been hanging out with my bestie Julia today. When I got home from our cup of coffee and walk around the lake, mom, David and I drove out to a Car Graveyard in Småland! It was pretty weird to see all of these old cars laying around in the forest, but kind of beautiful too! However... the weirdest thing, I felt like I was in Germany and not Sweden haha, SO many Germans everywhere!

lost and found
Glass bottles which I found last week at my parents summer cottage. These ones are really old and I love the blue bottles, so beautiful! Perfect for homemade nut milk or juices! I'll use the smallest one as a vase since it already has dirt I can't get off!
A truly werewolf moon, spotted on Gili Air. Nadja and I woke up around eleven in the morning today, both hungover too. We drove in to town after a long breakfast, more like a brunch. Anyway, we did some shopping and had a fika/coffee at espresso house! Sorry for now everyday images, but I'm so bad at taking good images at random, I more than often forget that when I hang out with friends!
I began to watch this whole new series on Netflix yesterday, it was released July 15th! I've seen two episodes and it's really good! I would not recomend you guys to watch this series alone, even I got a little frightened! It's surprisingly good though so give it a shot! Somewhat supernatural but still believable and great acting! Today was my last day on my summer scedule on ICA so I'll finally have a few days off now! Nadja is coming here soon and she's staying until Sunday, so we are going out dancing tonight! I hope you guys have a great Saturday!
Julia and I also traveled to the city of romance, Paris! I had never been in Paris or France before and I fell in love with the city, truly beautiful. All these horrible things happening in that city really makes my heart hurt. All aufwul events thats been going on in the world latley makes me so angry and irritated at humanity! I've almost lost all hope for a better world in the future since it's just going straight to hell at the moment :(. It's scary!
Images from last year in August! So much happened in August last year (since that was my month off work) so I had to divide this throwback into two parts! I'll post the rest tomorrow! Anyway, Julia turned 21, I went to a spa weekend with mom, and I had loads of picnics in the marvelous weather that was!
We found some chantarelles yesterday, but only half a portion haha... anyway, we sat down to this dinner around 19:20 in the evening. It's truly beautiful and cosy to sit there in the glasshouse in the middle of the garden. Even though it's such a old, tiny and simple glasshouse with an even more primitive interior.
I quite work early today so mom and I drove out to Hyggestorp to spend the night here. I haven't been here since last summer, it's so nice to come out here where it's so silent and "lonely"! We just finished this picnic in the glass house and now we're off to hunt mushrooms in the forest! I'll only look for chantarelles!!! My favourite!
Such bad quality it gets when you enlarge the video haha... but since I shared it on instagram I thought I should share it with you guys as well! I've been on a short biking trip to Kronobergs Slottsruin with Julia today, she's home in Växjö for a few days! We finished our picnic just in time before the rain started to pour down on us haha!
