the moving plants
Four plants, green beautiful thingys, that I'm taking with me to Stockholm The big cactus is around 15 years old, I bought it at IKEA together with 2 other ones when they where babies! Look how big it got! Anyway, it is noticeably that I'm moving tomorrow. The chaos here at home is brutal. My mom is in despair over all the stuff laying around in boxes in every corner of the house! But it's just until around 7 o clock tonight when my dad comes home with the trailer we will be driving up to Stockholm with. We're loading as much as possible today so we can start the journey earlier tomorrow!
summer of 2016
Summer memories of 2016 part 1.
I am packing all day long and preparing for the move! So much to do. Although, mom and I are going in to Växjö City this afternoon for some final shopping!
Inspiration and interior things that's going around in my head right now! The move is so close! I'm feeling pretty excited over here!
happy birthday big brother
images from last weekend
Happy birthday to my brother David who is 24 years old today! Mom, Dad and I will celebrate you on friday! Love you!

Some more images from Saturday. I have got a lot of compliments about this turtleneck sweater! It's from my favorite budget store Monki. I bought it two weeks ago in Stockholm! I am in love with the floral print on this sweater!
Anyhow, I've been running errands today. First of, I left some blood samples at the hospital since they are testing me for celiac disease and wheat allergy. I'll get the resutls in two weeks time or so. After that I drove to the city for a check up at my optician, and everything looked fine! Now I'm finally home and I will continue to pack all my stuff for the upcoming move to Stockholm!
what about today
I got some hours of work at ICA today, and you can't turn down work on a Sunday! (They phoned me earlier this morning). Anyhow, that results in this little blog post. I didn't go out yesteday, instead me and David stayed in, cooking dinner, talking and watching a movie. David is traveling back to HBG today too. I think I got his virus :(. Well, I hope you guys have a great Sunday!
full outfit post tomorrow
I've been working today and my cat woke me up several times tonight so I am pretty tired, but I am also indecisive about whether I am going out with my colleages tonight or not. My brother is home this weekend, to hang out with me, and he do not want to go out and party since he has a cold. So I can't decide on what I should do. I want to hang out with my brother too (I'm moving to Stockholm next weekend and he lives in Helsningborg = won't se eachother often). Why!!
Nice/Ice cream of frozen bananas and cacao with home grown apples which I've dried in the oven, blackberries from the garden, rasins, chia seeds and some peanut butter. It won't get any better than this!
coffee and elle
Some nice reading in between packing and getting ready for the move to Stockholm next week!
painting the pallets
Image from last September. This day have gone by soooo fast, but I've also done a lot. First off, I drove mom and dad to the airport at 05:45 in the morning. When I got home I slept for a little while in the sofa before having breakfast and coffee. Anyhow, I've been painting all of my pallets white today, it took me 5 hours to do it! I am finally done, such a relief! But it was quite nice to spend all that time on the pallets, probably due to that I was listening to P3 Morgonpasset whilst I was painting. That radioshow is really cozy!

My look a few days ago. I really like the colour of that sweater, as I've said before... and those pants are still one of my favourites! Bought them 1,5 years ago though. Today I've been working on my pallet bed, my back is aching :/ due to that I sat in a really weird position when I was painting, but there's really no choice... hence, it's going to take some time to paint them all!
Mom made this appetizer for me last Saturday, the day when I got home from Stockholm. Anyhow, the non-vegan guests (everybody apart from myself) got another version. It is oven baked beetroots on a bed of arugula with agave syrup roasted walnuts and a cream of Oatly's iMat Fraishe and mashed Greek styled vegan cheese (tastes like how I remember Feta cheese tasted like). It was really tasty!
I let my mom cut my hair today, 15cm. I find it nice to go shorter during the fall and winter season! AND my hair
grows so fast! It has grown around 15 cm in less than 10 months, that's a lot! What do you think? I feel like it suits me!
I arrived to Växjö just a few hours ago and I already miss my fave town Stockholm! Anyhow, mom and dad are having guests over for dinner tonight so I have to get my bad mood togeather and smile like I do in the image above, hehe.

Bought that college sweater yesterday. It's so comfy and I totally love that colour, it's my favourite colour this fall for sure!

My daily favourites in the accessory section! Aren't they golden? ;)
finally a good commercial
I just have to give this girl power commercial a big shout out! Such a great job of H&M!
views of stockholm
Stockholm is beautiful, nevertheless.
The weather this last Saturday was amazing so I met up with Niklas for some ice cream by the harbour. I had the lemon and ginger sorbet and the chocolate sorbet. Both vegan and the chocolate sorbet tastes A LOT. Its a heavy chocolate taste and so delicious, and not at all "sorbet-like". Those two flavours togeather, mmmhmm, perfect! Niklas took the same flavours and I think he agrees with me on this! Anyway you'll find Nonna's Gelato at Strandvägen in Stockholm just by the "Kungliga Motorbåt Klubben." Worth all the money!
yesterday vs today
Yesterday at 3 o clock in the morning VS a very slow coffee with Kamilja earlier today. I went to a little birthday celebration yesterday at Kevins, thank you for having me and happy birthday! My throat is sore today due to all the SingStar singing yesterday! Oh it was so much fun. I am pretty hangover today though... but totally worth it!
Stuff for a home, in stores right now.
a coffee house
I had coffee with these two ladies today! It was a little surprise that Julia came to Stockholm this weekend! But so much fun seeing her and Amanda! I've been away all day today so I'm really tired. Tonight I'll probably stay in with Rebecca infront of a movie. Just what we both need!
I've been on interviews today again, and I have two more tomorrow and then I finally have a break from the interviews during the weekend! Anyhow, this is my everyday look. I always have as little makeup as possible on my skin and then just some brown eyeshadow and mascara. Also somewhat marked lips. I'm not fond of having a thick layer of makeup on, especially not on top of my skin. Therefor, I try to stay away from foundation. Instead I just use a little bit of concealer if needed and do some sort of contouring and highlighting, I'm not good with that though. But, learning by doing!
A little update about what I'm doing in Stockholm, besides drinking coffee that is... haha. Anyway, Frida and I got the apartment we looked at yesterday! It's beautiful and we're moving in 1/10! So until then I'll be looking for jobs and probably travel home to Växjö again. I have a few interviews this week and I hope there will be more!
last year in september
Some images and memories from September 2015.
apple pie recipe
Since I liked this pie a lot I'll share the recipe with you! It's a small pie plate and the recipe is for 6 portions.
No sugar, no gluten, no animal products. Enjoy!
150g natural unsalted cashews
100 - 110g dried figs
1/2 teaspoon bourbon vanilla powder,
2/3 tablespoon cinnamon
1 pinch of seasalt
1-2 tablespoons of water if needed.
Mix all the ingredients for the pie crust in a food processor until the dough gets sticky, add more water if needed. Press out the dough evenly on your pie plate, use your fingers!
2 - 2,5 small apples (mine where homegrown)
3/4 deciliters of almondbutter, or peanutbutter, or a mix of both!
0,5 deciliters of coconut oil
1,5 teaspoons of cardemom
Chop the apples into small squares, around 1x1cm. Carefully melt all the ingredients, but the apples, in a pan on your stove. When melted, add the apples and mix, let it stay on the stove for 10 minutes or so. It should not be hot, preferably under 42 degrees celcius. Check with your finger if you're uncertain. Pour the pie filling on your pie crust and place in your fridge for 1 hour. Done! Eat within 5 days!
Some images from the day Alice and I spent at Evedal's beach. It's really beautiful out there!...
A raw, vegan, gluten free and sugar free (not even agave syrup) apple pie. I found a recipe of this beauty on the internet yesterday, and since my cousin Tessan is coming here with her kids this afternoon, I decided to make this apple pie for the classic Swedish "fika". (We have 4 apple trees in our garden and the apple season is on, so many apples everywhere!). If we like this little creation of mine I'll give you guys the recipe, which I of course tweaked a little to my own taste and liking!
a bed and a book
From earlier this morning. I've been working with the wedding images today and I am almost done with them. I've also booked a train ticket to Stockholm, so I'm traveling up on Monday. I'll be staying at Rebecca's apartment until Frida and I got the keys to the one we (hopfully) will stay in!
